iaf-man
Revell plastic different decals? https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10885050
Dave Williams
Certainly looks like the Revell kit.
iaf-man
ok thanks
peter havriluk
Why wouldn't it 'look like the Revell kit'? Artwork ought to look identical, same airplane. No sprue shots to compare to Revell sorue shots.

No sprue shots to compare to Revell sorue shots. ??? Those are photos of the built up model, and based on the details on the model shown (not paint job or markings), it’s clearly the Revell plastic. I’ve got the Revell Ventura kits, and know what they look like.
peter havriluk
Dave, my bad. I considered only the box art and didn't look at the model images until I read your reply. I built the Revell version in Canadian livery; at the time the kit was reviewed there was some chatter about inappropriate props on the museum airplane that was used as the model's prototype, it seems as if the propeller blades were too narrow on the museum airplane and the invalid props made their way onto the kit. Opinons on the Academy props? Thanks!
