F-16
I am doing the finishing touches on my 1/72 ESCI Panzer 2 AusF kit. I have now come to the hard part... What do I do with the vinyl tracks? PLEASE do not tell me to not use them or replace them. I plan on using them as is. I have never worked with vinyl tracks/parts before. The tracks are very warped on the sprue/tree. How do I straighten them out flat? Will they re-warp later on? I also will be priming them so that my Ammo/Mig paint will adhere. Vinyl is hard for acrylics to stick to. Thanks for your help. This is my FIRST tank kit (I normally build 1/48 aircraft). Scott CNJC-IPMS
scorvi
Cut them from the sprue....warm water bath to make them more pliable. I would rec. to prime with Tamiya primer gray-can. Then you could use acrylic over it. Just my suggestion Steve,
