Dutch
Kursad, another quick question. Is the SAC bird Strata Blue and white, with white USAF titles? Just curious. Kind regards, Dutch

Kind regards, Dutch No - but the two Scott AFB based MATS aircraft are. I have not done the profiles but these are nice, I will prove one with an arctic red trim (10650) and one without (10670); you will need to modify the serial with the extra 7 provided. troschi
Great work KursadA - defenitely placing a pre-order for both sheets
scoobs
Good stuff - looking forward to the sheet featuring USN & USMC options! As a former double-anchor guy who went through the NFO pipeline within the past 50 years, these orange & white terrors of the Pensacola sky bring back memories. I note the telltale VT-86 squadron emblem on the common markings sheet; I didn’t get to spend much time in the T-39 but all my homies who ended up in Prowlers or Super Hornets did. Of note, 2014 saw the final T-39 student training flight at VT-86, closing out almost 50 years of USN/USMC training in the mighty Sabreliner – T-39Ns #7 & #11 had the final honors: And then there’s also the trippy 1930s retro scheme done for Centennial of Naval Aviation! -Scoobs

It comes with USMC markings. Um. 160982 is the BuNO for a Beech T-44A Pegasus. Did you mean 150982? Edited August 23, 2022 by Dutch

Spruemeister
Might be one of the most colorful sheets you’ve ever done. Really nice! Rick L.
thegoodsgt
Dang! I thought I'd selected the scheme for my model, but now I see so many alternatives! 🤔
AD-4N
I'd bet money my dad was a passenger in that SAC bird from his time at Offutt in '65 - '69.
Spruemeister
I’ve never flown in a Sabreliner, but I did sit in the one in the SAC museum collection many years ago at the outdoor site during an open planes day. I made jet noises and pretended to use the intercom to tell a bunch of generals to buckle up and prepare for takeoff. There may have been a girl onboard I was trying to impress, too. I don’t remember. It was quite a while ago. I better order another kit. Rick L.
