midnightprowler
I have this kit and want to do a medi-vac bird. I can easily source the cross markings. I'm not concerned about having the interior show, but am wondering if it can be done with that kit.
HeavyArty
Yes, you have all the standard H-60 exterior parts in the kit. The only difference is the mission equipment sprues. The UH-60A/L kit has an "L" sprue w/the interior seats, external ESSS wings, and aux tanks. The MH-60G has a "G" sprue with the Pave Hawk-specific parts. Here is one I did a few years ago. https://cs.finescale.com/fsm/modeling_subjects/f/16/t/141513.aspx Edited July 2, 2022 by HeavyArty
midnightprowler
Beautiful. So just build it without the g sprue? And obviously leave the doors closed lol if I'm not doing interior detailing.

DN2
Does anyone make a conversion detail kit/set for the UH-60M BLACKHAWK?!...
HeavyArty
Not in 1/35. Hobby Fan does have one in 1/48 though. I don't know how accurate it is, but it is out there.
SERNAK
Did the H-60, in general, ever have tinted glass door windows? It's just a detail I recently discovered in an old Hasegawa kit that I still have and was planning to build these days.
HeavyArty
No, all windows have always been clear.

I guess this is one of those few times that Hasegawa managed to make a mistake with one of its kits. Many thanks for your reply.
