Hi guys,
About 2 years ago I started this ambitious project to build a 1/32 scale Mirage F-1C/CZ. The project stalled for quite a while, as I was not feeling confident enough to make a success of it. So, I built a couple of 1/32 scale subjects in the meantime to get some more experience, and think I can now do it justice. Here's some pictures of what has been done so far.

Gary F, thanks 🙂

The basic body shell and wings were 3D printed with PLA on a low resolution FDM printer, so rough it would make a blind man cry...lol

4 cans of Tamiya primer and a whole tube of Tamiya putty just to get the surface smooth. Other details are scratch built.

try to use HIPS filament.. it requires a little more heat at nozzle and bed also controlled enviroment but the metarial is %100 compatible with kit plastics, regular glues and model paints, also sands easily to perfect smooth surface...

Hi A.C.,

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately this project is beyond the point of no return, but good to know about more user friendly materials.

Making good progress on the port main gear well.
