Marcello
I am well advanced in building an F-4J as the early Vandy 1”. One thing I noticed in the references is that all the CAUTIONs are not white, but yellow, and WARNINGs red. The Furball decals have these words white, but I managed to fix this with application of floor polish tinted with clear acrylics. but this made me wonder about the proper colour of the NO STEP and NO PUSH stencils on top of the wings. I could not find any pictures showing the top of the wing of 3783. Would anyone know whether these were likely to be white (as they currently stand).
Nebbor
My guess: white. And Hobby decal has them in white, Furball has them in white also. But yellow and white look very similar, see for yourself:

I agree, at least from this shallow angle, they look white.
roym
Slightly off topic but has anyone ever tried 1/48 stencils on a 1/32 kit, and 1/72 on a 1/48? More in scale maybe?????

Kind of defeats the purpose of scale modeling. I wouldn't understand why someone would want stencils 33% smaller than they're supposed to be. "More in scale" is really the scale they're supposed to be. There's scale effect in colors but markings themselves have a defined 1:1 size so I can't see any benefit or argument for it.
