Eastern
Thank you guys for your interest and support! But the older I become the more I feel losing my interest to the modeling. Yet two years ago I was quite enthusiastic to this build and was tend to believe that would complete it in two years or so. But now I found myself to be a reluctant modeler. Does getting older really mean to live aside some previous habits and even the hobby? Alexander Edited July 18, 2024 by Eastern

ExchefAndy
We all go through the urges and surges... and life has become rather turbulent and crazy these days, some might say...absurd! You do some lovely work that some of us can only aspire to, but at the end of the day... you do you. Just hope you're ok! Andy

Eastern
Hi there, Back to build again. Made new air scoops. On the photo: below - new scoops; above - the in kit $hit. BTW, I hade to fill the area where the scoops supposed to be placed as the kit offers to place them onto wrong position. I think it needs to be said that all the in-kit panels and riveting lines are positioned wrong but to fill and remake them all would be a real a$$ pain. LOL Will be back with more updates soon. Eastern
Hi guys, some more updates. I filled riveting lines on the bottom of the rear portion of the fuselage and that on the rear wing. I used rivet decals from the Quinta Studio (BTW, very nice stuff, highly recommended). But for the A-10 rivets one should use the rivets for 1/24 scale as better ones to fit the real scaled down size. For smaller rivets where relevant use rivets for 1/32 scale. This is how the new riveting lines look like. Edited March 15 by Eastern Adding more images

Yep, 3D technologies grow up and wide. 3D printers now come to be usual on-table device. World changes and develops dramatically but we are getting older. The eyes are not so keen as years ago and it sucks. But the modeling must go on! 🙂 Edited yesterday at 09:03 AM by Eastern
