Definitely interested in this book.    Would love to get a signed copy, if possible.

This is my first book, so I haven't done ANY for this kind of thing before. I certainly have no problem with signing copies, but we'll have to work out the details later. I'm planning on attending the IPMS Nats in San Marcos soon after the book is scheduled for release, so that would be an easy place to do that sort of thing. I also usually attend Scale Model World at Telford in November (as part of my annual trip to see one of my daughters and her family) and Harpia has a stand there, so that will be an easy opportunity as well.

I appreciate it.   Perhaps the IPMS Nats may be the better option, as I'm in the US.

Just a quick update on the BOOK. Originally scheduled for release last July 4th, it's now scheduled for release in the U.S. the third week in March. As I understand it, it will come out about a month earlier in Europe. A LOT of folks have asked for autographed copies and I'm happy to do that. Rather than run up everyone's postal bills, I will be at both the U.S. and U.K. IPMS conventions next year and (as I understand it) you'll be able to purchase the book at a discount and I can autograph it there. I'll also be giving my presentation again at Madison (a 1-hr. version) on Thursday morning. I'm sure most of you have seen Harpia books and mine will look like that. To whet your appetite, here is a LINK to a few sample pages.

This has to be the first time in publishing history that a title I want is coming out earlier and not later than scheduled!  This is excellent news and can’t wait

I hate to burst your bubble, but it was supposed to come out LAST July 4th! 🤣

Amazon.nl just pushed mine back to 4-5 Nov!

Wtf are they on?

Cancelling with them, and lokking for another source!

Just checked, and I suspect they couldn't/wouldn't sell it at the ordered price, as it seems to have increased by 50%!

Between this and Dana Bell's Corsair books it seems nigh on impossible to order these books.

Mine will be here this afternoon according to Amazon.  Special Book for me as I was at RAF UH on 15 April 1986.  My shop maintained the ALQ-137 jammers on the EF-111A.

Interesting to see if the Ghost Rider mission to Goose Bay Canada by the F-111E from RAF UH 6 months earlier is covered.  This mission proved the F-111 Legs with individual Tanker support.

Amazon does seem to be struggling. I preordered through them (.ca) a year ago, and received a copy a couple weeks ago. The only problem was that they shipped it in a padded envelope and decided to beat the crap out of it. The spine of the book was badly damaged. I asked them to replace it, which they agreed to, but they have no estimate for when or if they will ever actually have more stock. Its a beautiful book, and I'd really prefer a non-damaged copy. We'll see what happens...

For U.S. Readers:

Despite advertising it for months, Barnes and Nobel never placed an order for Operation Eldorado Canyon with Casemate (the U.S. distributor) and have now deleted it from their catalog. Some, but apparently not all people who’d pre-ordered from them were notified that their orders had been canceled.

Casemate is out of stock at the moment. They have ordered more from Harpia, but those won’t arrive until late June. You can still order from Amazon.

I will be at the US-IPMS Nationals in Madison and you’ll be able to buy a copy there and I’ll be happy to deface (err, sign) it for you. I’ll also be giving a one-hour presentation about the mission there from 9-10AM on Thursday.

I'll be grabbing two books, you can deface both of them.
