MA Cooke
Hello all, thank you in advance for your time. I have the Iwata HP-SBS series (side feed), and lately when I'm painting, when I release the button for the air valve, there is a hesitation and the valve closes slowly, as opposed to (almost) instantaneously. When I release it, it's keeps blowing air for around 1 to 2 seconds afterwards. Any ideas what may be the problem? Thank you all.
Bob Beary
Maybe it needs a cleaning and some lubrication. Are all the components screwed down tightly? If not the spring tension could be less than it should be. Bob
ElectroSoldier
Nothing a strip and clean wont cure buddy. Its quite simple, you dont need to strip down the valve itself just take it out and give what you can see a clean, then put it back together and see if its all back to normal.
