cruiz
Just found this article, the phrase that got me was, "You probably don't know about model building because no one does it anymore" 🤣 https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2022/nov/15/chocks-away-airfixs-spitfire-takes-to-the-skies-again
southwestforests
Quote Do say: “This legendary fighter is ready to dominate the skies once again.” Don’t say: “Hang on, the wings are on upside down.” 🤣

Delanie
Yeah the 1/24th Spitfire and Hurricane were both Mk1's I built the Hurricane , maybe not as well as I could have done today when I was about 11 or 12 years old. I might be getting old but I just don't get the article, if that is the best they can do by way of review writing, no wonder people have cut down on reading newspapers these days. The "Pass Notes" column is a brief mickey-take of something that's in the news. It's fitfully funny but mostly just pointless snark. That's the good news. The bad news is ... reviews of model kits? In national newspapers? Fat chance!
jonwinn
I don't find it useful or funny. But that's just me and my odd ways. I guess.
