Dave Roof
A few weeks ago, I was asked by VMFA(AW)-533 to build a model of an F/A-18D to present to their Guest of Honor at their Ball, SgtMaj Deets, who was the squadron SgtMaj from 2006 to 2009. As luck would have it, a decal sheet I released back in 09 (FL48013 Devil Dog Deltas) covered the very jet that had his name painted on the starboard nose gear door. This is the second Hornet I've built for 533 this year and like the first, was honored and privileged to be asked to do so.

ST0RM
Excellent work on a fast build. How did you connect the jet to the base?
