Drew T.
Thanks Crackerjazz! Believe it or not, I'm still just using my phone camera. I bought a light box a couple of months ago, which helped alot. I also started using the manual mode on my phone camera. When I have everything in auto mode, it tends to wash out all the detail and the weathering doesn't show up well. To take the photos in this thread, I set the ISO set to around 200 to 400 and the exposure compensation at around -1.5. This is with the black background. A lighter background might require different settings, but these settings seem to work pretty well for me. I have everything else set to automatic. Hope this helps! Gator52
Drew, I might have missed it, but can you elaborate on cutting paint masks for the SJ tail codes? What masking material did you use in your cutter, and did you use default settings? Thanks, Chris
Drew T.
Hi Chris, I used Oramask 810 for all of my masks. Below are the settings I use. Hope this helps! Drew
