I airbrush with acrylic paints and used Future floor polish for a gloss coat until I lost the container in my last move 2+ years ago. I’ve been using Quick Shine multi-surface floor finish now and it seems to work just like the Future did. Quick Shine is made by Holloway House Inc. out of Indiana. Got mine at Walmart. I primarily use acrylic paint. I haven't but I suspect that Rust-Oleum is lacquer based and you should be careful with it. In this coats it should be fine over acrylic, but apply it too thickly and it might ruin your paint as the lacquer will eat into it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
