Ed DeVivo
Im working on an F-15E and completed the gears and placing the lights in last. On the aircraft, as well as the others mentioned the rear of the light cap is white... Now, I recall several years ago, painting the rear chrome, then spraying white over it when it dried. From what I recall, it made the light pop and looked nice but Im just making sure this was the trick as its been 20 years or so.. Don't want to ruin the part... Also, can chrome be spray on the rear of the clear lense or should it be hand painted? I have alclad that can only be sprayed... Many thanks!!
Cliff C
I do this all the time and works great with the silver hand painted or sprayed. Cliff
