PascalK
Hey Guys! Everybody knows that some kit parts are always bad in shape or full of grid like the antennas. Therefor I created some sets to replace them with 3D printed parts. Some more for F-18 and F-14 will follow, stay tuned. https://www.pkproductions.de/shop/3d-printed-resin-parts/
Solo
I have got ones, very nice detailed sensors for F-16 and F-15. Hope for onother ones in the future.
boom175
BTW the smaller vertical probe is also used on the A-10. It's a total air temp probe if I remember correctly.
Crash Test Dummy
It is a Type 102 Total Air Temperature (TAT) probe. It's a extremely common and been around since the '60s
fasteagle12
Those look great...If you could get some in 1/72 scale, I'd jump on them in a second...My B-1B and B-52 kits could sure use them.....

I remember hearing that Flying Leathernecks (Dave Roof) tried to do some 1/72 scale and it didn't work out, but I'm sure he didn't use metal.

My failure rate on the 72nd parts is about 50%. I have them set up 8 probes per runner and print a total of 24 sets at a time. Either a whole runner of probes doesn't print, or half of the probes on a runner don't print. In 48th scale my failure rate is about 5% and 32nd scale it's about 2%. After several attempts, I gave up on the 72nd scale.
PascalK
Yes the failure would be very high, for 1/48 and 1/32 it's okay. Today I added the F-18 parts: https://www.pkproductions.de/shop/
