Mustang381
Hello brothers modelers, I have finished my Monogram F-15A 1/48 kit, kit is from 1979, and it have raised panel lines. That is not bothering me,I just sand them of after painting whole kit,and under it black lines of primer apeared and it looks nice.I like F-15 in flight mode, so I have made my kit in this position. All comments are welcome. Thanks for watching.

Gwen Phoenix
Hi Mustang, Wow, look at that beauty! Your build looks awesome. I started building this very same kit last year, but sort of lost faith in it by looking at the shape of the radome and stuff. This build of yours has restored faith; kind of you've proven to me that a very nice build can come out of this kit. Will give mine another opportunity, thanks. Cheers, Gwen

Cheers, Gwen Dear Gwen, Thank you very much for kind words for my work, it means a lot to me. This kit was started as a "MOJO" project, and it worked perfectly in that cause 🙂 Yes, it have some imperfections, but for a kit from 1979.,it is a little gem What is most important there is no aftermarket and this project was finished for two weeks, and as you were saying, I was needed something to push my spirit for more complicated projects, and these Monogram kits are fantastic for that role.I recomend them 100% to anyone who need a little uplift for future kits. All the best friend and happy modeling.

aircommando130
Very well done! I have a couple of those Monogram/Revell F-15's as well. I think in flight the Eagle looks very cool. I want to do one of them as a Kadena Eagle since I was stationed ther for 4 years flying the MC-130. Great job on yours. Something to be proud of! Cheers...Ron

Mustang381
I have spoken with a friend who worked long time ago there, and he sugested me these markings, to equaly represent model kit from 1979, and bird from 1979. 🙂
