Heller/Kinetic F-104G 1/48

Hello friends,

 

I have buyed Heller/Kinetic F-104G 1/48, kit 30520, and when it arrived to me, sprue "D" had all over cockpit glass defected sections which are made durring production, and when I have asked Heller to send me replacement parts they have sent to me again,same defected sprue.... what is going on with this world.... why is this happening??? Also I have wrote to Kinetic for help... and we will see what will happen...

 

My question is,does anyone share same situation?

Wow, that's ugly. I hope Kinetic can help you. Early in the series of 1/48 F-5A/B from Kinetic, the main canopy had similar defects. They quickly mailed out replacements after modellers asked.

Kinetic is out of Hong Kong and Heller is French, but the plastic is from Kinetic.  Heller just did a rebox.

I tried... one can not fix/polish distorsions which are in this manner.
