Gator52
Arii F-111E marked as F-111F 70-2408 as she appeared in October 1993. Built straight OOB with a mix of custom & spares box decals. Positioning the wings forward would have created a gap to deal with, so in the interests of keeping this project simple I positioned them aft. While researching the tail end of the 'Varks USAF career, I found several photos of FS 36118 jets carrying green drop tanks, so went with that look. Chris

Dutch
Chris, Your kit looks great! That gives me hope for my old ARII kit. I bought the OzMods wing extensions and TP II intakes for a F-111C. Will see how it goes. K/r, Dutch
kellyF15
Beautiful build!
spejic
This is very nicely built, and I especially like how the decals turned out. I agree gluing down swing-wings is the way to go, particularly in 1/144. You can get a much more scale appearance because invariably kits will have massive, toy-like gaps around the wings if built stock.
Drifterdon
Great job on this little Vark Chris. I've been trying to put together the pieces/parts to do up an FB-111 in this scale but I'm coming up a little short. You knocked this one out of the park!
