Dutch
WAPJ isn't much help. The two photos show the ODS rails on the upper rear ramp, but not on the line drawing.
Trojan Thunder
Thanks for looking @Dutch
andyf117
A few more I found (all enlargeable) - this one's not any better than the first I posted, but it's from another angle, at least: Whilst these might help with shape. size and spacing of the attachment points, along with the flare chutes inbetween in the lower section: Edited April 23 by andyf117
aircommando130
You can get by with some thin angle on the door. They had some gusset plates every few feet to give it strength. The carriage rolled out on the door with the MA-1 rescue kit on it and then dropped all 5 bundles about 1 second apart.
Trojan Thunder
Thanks again Andy, looks like I have some good detailed views to go on with this. I'm sure it won't be 100% correct but it will look about right.
andyf117
Been a few months and you've quite probably finished this by now, but whilst posting in another thread I noticed the photos in the old Airfix Magazine article which I uploaded included a ramp shot: Edited July 25 by andyf117
Cubs2jets
No detail really, but these two pics showed up recently on flickr... C2j
Trojan Thunder
Thanks guys, this one has stalled, got distracted by other builds. I've also just moved house so everything was packed away. This was the last shot of in the company of my other C-130s. So I should get back to it and add those ramp guides. The L-100-30 top centre took over my attention and then the C-130J-30 bottom right until I spilt water on the decals sheet (I have another I can rob bits from).
