nspreitler
Eduard’s F4F-4 Wildcat. This is the dual combo Guadalcanal boxing, and for the first one I’m doing Joe Foss’ aircraft. The interior is well done, there is a lot of color P/E but I opted to just painted most of it. Besides the seat and instrument panel virtually nothing is visible in the cockpit once closed so I wasn’t really worried about it. I painted it with MRP Dark Dull Green which isn’t far from Bronze Green and matched the photoetch I did use fairly well. I did struggle a bit with the fit on the fuselage, but in the end it wasn’t bad. The paint is all MRP, with some of the variation done with an AK blue pencil. I did manage to ruin both sets of numbers for the top of the wings. I may mask and paint them if I can find the right font for an svg file. it has gone together very quickly, I started it April 10th and expect to be done by the end of the month.
