IAGeezer
Two Bobs decals say FS 17875, which MRP calls White. Jake Melampy's F-16 book says they are "A very, very light shade of gray." AMS strikes again!

Crash Test Dummy
It's FS36622 "Camouflage Grey" same grey as the bottom color of Vietnam era South East Asia camouflaged planes. But, you can vary that lighter or darker. over different sections, so the missile is so monotone.
usmcski6502
Also, a common mistake I see when painting live missiles is to neglect the aft caps on the weapons. The HARM has a black rubber cap that protects the exhaust, and the AIM-9M has an orangish hue to it that is a solid circle (the CATM-9 has a slotted aft end, like a straight slot screw, and is painted the same color as the missile body). Semper, Ski can you give more details about what the aft caps are for? are they something that would be present on an aircraft during flight? i've been trying to pay more attention to details like this on ordnance. kills me when a kit missile is just a flat circle at the end! He quite literally states what they're for in his post. And yes, they're present on the missile in flight and are blown/burned away when the missile is fired.
