denstore
I'm looking for some decals for a natural metal (or at least partially NMF) 1/48 B-25J, with the fuselage gun blisters attached. As I understand it, they where removed in early '45 but I'm in hope to find either an earlier bird with or a later one that for some reason kept them. From what I've found, most of the decals available are either for aircraft without the blisters or olive drab / grey finish. I want something more like the Lady Luck on the old Airfix boxart. 😉 Any suggestions? Edited May 7 by denstore

Quite plain australian markings. Not exactly exhilarating.
Andrés S
Hi. I leave you the link to the Kitsworld online store, specifically to some decals for a B-25J. I have this same set of decals but in 1/72 scale. I hope to one day fit that gorgeous girl MMR into my Hasegawa Mitchell. https://www.kitsworld.co.uk/index.php?GOTO=55&PICFILE=55&STKNR=55&STRH=0&ORDN=0&RNZ=952009&THISVIEWMODE=2&SUPPLIER=&FINDRETR=0&WIDENET=0&CATEGORY=4&SUB=3&VWW=1&VANCE=99 Andrés. eraucubsfan
While "MMR" and "Big Jamoke" are gorgrous aircraft, they don't have the gun blisters attached from what I can tell.

Well, it's true....I always thought that it did have weapons but now that I have reviewed photographs of the real plane, I have incredibly seen that it did not... You don't know the joy you have caused me because I never liked him carrying weapons there mi modell....
Charlie D.
There’s always the Panchito decals that came with the Monogram B-25J
B-17 guy
Panchito decals with the monogram B-25J kit?? I’ve never seen those decals in that box.
seawinder
Draw Decals has single sheets in all scales for Panchito, which in their profile is NMF with fuselage guns: https://www.drawdecal.com/product/132-aoepanchitoa-b-25j/

Probably not a huge issue as it does seem a pretty accurate reproduction of the original.
seawinder
Speaking of Monogram decals, the 1991 copy of their J has markings for "Lady Lil," mostly NMF with a yellow/green bird's head nose and native Americans on the tails. The decals look pretty good -- not the ironclad crap from earlier decades, and properly screen printed. *** I just finished reading Tom Cleaver's build article on a 345th BG gun nose J. Apparently they removed the fuselage blister guns from most of their planes with the 8-gun noses because they did damage to the structure of the fuselage. Photos and profiles seem to back this up. You must be younger than me 😝. First issue of the 1/48 J had them, and the single nose gun.

If modeling the wartime bird the two stripes on the vertical tails should be black.
