AH-1W NTS Exhaust in 1/48?

Anything out there or on the horizon besides the impossibility hard to find olimp set?  Seems like there sure is a need for the set....

The turned exhaust? One can only hope that Floyd or the new chap on the block, Mr. Jonathan Smith, will someday get around to it. It would be really cool if a new AH-1W kit was released with options to build a pre-NTS, NTS, and the last NTS iteration Cobras all in one box.

Hear Hear….I second both options. 
 

Hopefully that’s ICM success with the Cobra G will continue with Cobra twin engine variants.

A new kit would be great, but since I have the Italeri kit, a conversion set would do for me..

The olimp resin conversion is not hopeless, but do not expect Aires-like detail and fit. Furthermore, It offers no instrument panel, you need to change that by scratch building.

Kitty Hawk had announced a new AH-1W NTS kit in 1/48 scale, then they closed shop. Hopefully someone buys their molds and CAD so the kits reappear.

Apparently Zimi Models, who has been re-releasing the other Kitty Hawk kits, still has the Whiskey on their portfolio so one can only hope.
