New book on the V-22 Osprey is available now

Recommended Posts

Hello,

CAVU Publications fourth book will be on the V-22 Osprey. The MV, CV and CMV will be covered. I am planning on having the books printed by Nationals.

My books on the CH-53E, AH-1W/Z and HH-60G are available here.

Must of missed it when I checked the site before. 😎

Any plans for a decal sheet for the Osprey? So far your sheets have been only 1/48, any thoughts about going smaller to 1/72,

if planning on doing a sheet? Hasegawa has made a few releases in 1/72.

I don't think I will do a sheet on the V-22 at this time. I am working on a sheet for the HH-60G but it is taking a while. I know Hasegawa did quite a few V-22 kits in 72nd, that might be an interesting option, especially since HobbyBoss hasn't announced CV-22 or CMV-22 kits in 1/48th.

While disappointed I understand. Nobody currently has any CMV decals out.

There is always more aircraft not covered especially in 1/72.

I can loan you my 1/72 MV kit if you change your mind.

Thanks for shipping the book so fast. 👍👍

My book arrived today. Wow, another smashing book Mason. The DWS (belly gun) photos are worth the price alone imho.  The action shots of the hellhole and repelling/fast roping are great.

The tail art is great and I get it would be expensive for some like the Grand Canyon scene but wow if you can pull it off.

Really want to do a CMV-22 now.

Tank, thank you. There are some really cool tails out there, they would make a cool sheet!

Well now all we need with this book is a scale up  kit to 1/35. Yeah yeah I know I'm dreaming

Yeah, with the DWS not being fielded anymore it is tough to see someone do it. Granted this modern but look at the Huey’s long path. Maybe Trumpeter will scale up the Hobbyboss kit for you. 🤷‍♂️
