My second F-35 sheet has been a work in progress for a few months now. However, it will be pushed up a bit and will include VMFA-242's current command jet, the Bat.

 

I'll have an image of the sheet itself posted as soon as possible. There are some tweaks needed to get the bat just right before it's placed on the sheet layout.

Too time consuming and an added cost. It's going to be a decal.

Yes, I'm very fortunate in that regard. The squadrons former CO and I are friends, and he put me in touch with their most recent XO. I've submitted a request for more specific details on the bat and just waiting for word.

Ha, I actually got a message from VMFA-242 last night. They asked me to build a model for their ready room, and will be sending measurements of the bat in the next day or two. Good times!
