Warbirds UK! My first Air-to-Air Adventure

Recommended Posts

Good thing the photographers got to refuel too, no telling what can happen when attempting photography on an empty stomach.

Ya know, it may be safe to declare as a universal fact that a collective nerd out is good for the soul.

With the Skyvan being a turboprop, it requires jet fuel which was not available at the aerodrome. So, we based the rest of our flights out of Turweston airport. This gave us a place to grab a bite to eat, collectively nerd out about our love for aviation and photography, along with refuel the Skyvan before the next flight.

Wow, amazing!  That's been my dream, to do air-to-air photos, and yours are perfect!

Thanks Ken. It's been about a month ago and I'm still marinating in the excitement.

Cheers,
