ya-gabor
Post just delivered this. Well, actually it has arrived before Xmas in Hungary but our friendly Post Office decided to hold on to it for one more week so it will not be under the Christmas tree. But at least it still arrived in 2024. : ) : ) Best regards Gabor

ya-gabor
I am working on the kit. Fort he moment just getting to know the kit, cutting down parts from the sprues and cleaning them. Gluing some basic sub assemblies. What is evident so far is that the fit of parts in dry runs is perfect. The instruction sheet is very comprehensive, detailed and giving a good guide for building the kit. Should make a video soon of how I am getting on with the build. Thing is that I dont have any other Zero kits to make a comparison. You can say that I am a Zero Virgin! : ) : ) : ) Best regards Gabor
ya-gabor
Have been doing some work in the past 2 days since receiving the kit. A lot of parts cut from sprues, cleaned. Made some dry runs to see how parts fit. After all fit of the parts influences buildability of every kit. Also design and break down. Here it is a modular design, one can do different stages of subassembly construction and joint them all up at a later stage. The fit of the parts is very good! One can build up the cockpit, put it inside the nose part and it will all stay in place. Just as the tail section with the stabilizers and the vertical. They are all designed in a way that the modeller has only one option, it is to position them the right way, at a right angle, just as the wing, the flaps or undercariage doors . . . Started with the instrument panel . . . Happy new year to everyone!!!!!!! : ) : ) : ) Best regards Gabor
ya-gabor
Fine Molds is releasing two new version of the 48 th scale Zero kit this summer. There will be A6M5 Type 52A produced by Mitsubishi (kit № FZ03) and Type 52A produced by Nakajima (kit № FZ04). The two kits differ in small separate sprues which give the particular details for these versions. Like the bigger spinner and new version of fuel drop tank for the Nakajima version. By doing small separate sprues Fine Molds can easily intermix sprues to put in a box the given versions identifying features. Best regards Gabor
