Evil_Toast_RSA
Even better news! My 3 1/72 Academy kits are waiting for proper decals, guess I know what next years builds will be.
The Arrowhead
I’m definitely a customer for this one in 1:48. Any F-89D/H/J scheme from the color profiles in the Squadron/Signal In Action, treated the Caracal way, will do!
fessSto
Glad to hear you are planning a C version and in 1/72 scale. I have an old Hobbycraft kit sitting in my stash just waiting for some Caracal decals. My plug is for the Michigan Air National Guard birds.
fessSto
Just greasing the skids. 😉

I have material for two sets and will release a second one if the first one sells well.
fessSto
It feels like Christmas just came early. Thanks, Kursad! Can't wait to place my order.
KursadA
This was easily one of the most difficult projects I pulled off, perhaps comparable to the B-47 and B-36 which took a lot of effort. In the end, I think everything all came together nicely. I don't think anyone spent more time thinking about F-89 markings than me since the Johnson administration. 12 options, including an F-89C, F-89H (order those pods now) , multiple ANG F-89Js and very comprehensive stencilling. I will post images in a few days. Edited December 3, 2024 by KursadA

René van der Hart
This is incredible news! Today l bought a second hand F-89C kit and went looking for aftermarket decals. Nothing available of course. That was until l stumbled upon this thread. Any chance of reveiling which C options will be on the sheet? René
KursadA
Probably a late January-February release now - one F-89C (Michigan ANG), the other 11 options are D/H/J. Honestly it is probably the most extensive F-89 sheet we will ever see for a long time. I don't know when I will be able to do a 1/72 scaledown, but I intend to do it. Profiles are at least a month away, so please don't ask. I will post more information when they are ready. Edited December 17, 2024 by KursadA

Dutch
Wow! Outstanding choices. Almost too many choices. You will have to add CD48235-2 to your basics line so we can build more than one option from this beautiful sheet.
skyhawk174
Wow that is going to be a beautiful sheet. Will order as soon as it is out.
fessSto
I'm wiping the drool off my bottom lip just looking at the images. Can't wait until the 1/72 preorder button is turned on. You are a master, Kursad.
Jay in Texas
Do my eyes deceive me? Is that a Montana ANG option?!? They flew the C, D, H, and J. Which one is it? I can’t wait! Guess I better sell off all my F-89 decals now while I have the chance!
