ESzczesniak
A long time ago, the Neware space kits caught my eye. I picked up the 1/144 Titan II missile thinking it'd be an easy build. How hard can tube with rockets be? Well, between trying to align the body pieces, deal with shrinkage/mismatch, and warping/oval vs circle shapes; the build never got anywhere. Fast forward a few a decade or two with better CAD skills and accessible 3D printers, I had a bit of the same idea. How hard could it be to build a tube in CAD and print the model? This time it actually stuck and there's a finished model. I modeled the pieces in Fusion360. It's only about 10 pieces. Then printed them on my SLA printers, assembled and painted. I used decals from the spares bin. And there we have it, a finished 1/144 LCM-25C Titan II ICBM. As I clean up the packaging of the files, I will make them available for free somewhere (I'd love to see sometime in the future an amazing repository of free models and parts we've all made along the way and can just print). At some time if I'm really productive, I'll add more formal instructions and perhaps even decal graphics. I'd love to hear any feedback or comments. Drifterdon
Very nicely done!
Dutch
Beautifully done, sir! What's next? SM-65 Atlas D/E/F? I would love to add some ICBMs to my 1/144 Cold War strategic bomber collection. My son took the 3D printer with to A&P mechanic school. Well it is his printer. I may have to get a resin 3D printer now.

But I do happen to have a LGM-118A Peacekeeper III now as well. That one I didn't design myself though.
aircommando130
Nothing says Cold War Strategic Air Command's part of the ICBM triad than a Titan II missile! Great job! Cheers...Ron
