Aztec Dummy Paint Masks Advise

As I have been preparing for the 2025 contest season as far as my builds, I have gotten "HOT" for several of the Aztec Dummy masks especially the ones for the Star Trek, Star Wars, and Space 1999 universes.  My biggest concerns are that these things are very expensive and they are pretty much a one shot deal.  I know that the aztec patterns for the starships and vehicles would be a nightmare to do myself, but some of these I am very tempted just to go things alone and do the masking myself, especially on the simple stuff.  Thoughts?  Opinions?  Recommendations?  Thanks for the feedback!
