Hello, gentlemen!
My new aviation model – Soviet helicopter are made from TRUMPETER kit in scale 1/48.

Small information
This Soviet multipurpose single-rotor helicopter with a 5-blade main rotor, a 3-blade tail rotor with an increased blade chord and a three-support chassis replaced the previous transport modification. Due to the installation of new TV3-117MT gas turbine engines, the lifting capacity increased to 4 tons and its rate of climb became higher. It also had a new RV-14 main gearbox and a new APU - AI-9V and other new equipment. This helicopter was widely used in the war in Afghanistan (1979-1089). since the 80th year of the last century. One can say, as a "workhorse" for the transfer of troops, evacuation of the wounded, transportation of various goods and very often for fire support of troops. With the change in its thrust-to-weight ratio, the range of weapons installed on three pylons on each side increased. To protect the helicopter, a dust protection device (PZU), an screen-exhaust device (EVU), a Lipa IR jamming station, ASO-2V heat trap ejection units were installed on both sides, and the crew cabin was protected with armor plates.

Unguided aircraft missiles - UB-32-57 and B8V20 on the middle and inner pylons, gun pods UPK-23-250, GUV (pool) - universal helicopter gondola GUV-8700 with 1x12.7mm machine gun YakB-12.7 and 2x7.62mm machine guns GShG-7.62, GUV (gran) - universal helicopter gondola GUV-8700 with 1x30mm grenade launcher AG-17A "Plamya-A", bombs of various calibers - FAB-100, 200, 250, 500M62. PKT course machine gun (tank), PKT aft machine gun (caliber 7.62 mm), a KORD machine gun (caliber 12.7 mm) was sometimes installed in the doorway of the cargo cabin

My changes
-the cockpit has been modified with the installation of 3D Quinta Studio decals on the instrument panels, and missing interior elements have been added
-the fastening of the main rotor blades has been redesigned and contour lights have been added to their tips
-the main rotor has been modified; current collector cables have been added
-the tail rotor has been modified with the addition of wiring
- the missing elements of the cargo cabin have been made from scratch
-an electric winch from the E.V.M. company (Sevastopol) has been added
-the PKT nose machine gun has been modified
-masts for fastening cable antennas have been made and the antennas themselves with insulators have been stretched
-all handles and handrails have been made from wire
-rear view mirrors have been made from plastic parts
