amato1969 Posted December 1, 2024 Share Posted December 1, 2024 (edited) Just finished this old Heller kit, my advice is don't try this at home - it was a ton of work to make it presentable. In addition to mucho filler and sanding, I used Eduard etch in the cockpit, ResKit missile pylons (these are amazing) and Linden Hill decals with Begemot stencils. I cut and dropped the flaps and also repositioned the horizontal stabs to an at-rest position. I stole the four missiles from my Zvezda SU-27SM kit (which looks to be a much easier build).
