How do they get the OK for this, but are still having issues with the license for the Tutor kit?

My guess is they have all ready pumped out thousands of Hornets, and the molds are just fine for thousands more, just a new (and difficult) decals sheet. Where the Tutor has marketing questions. Sure it will sell well in Canada, but what about the rest of the world?

 

4 of us on this thread will buy a Tutor or three, but would zerosystem or some random modeller in Japan?

Tutor will sell well worldwide and Canada numbers will drown Raymond in dollars.

He has most of the schemes that reached decal form. My good friend Jim who designed the majority of the schemes last told me he designed and painted  I think over 160 special schemes for the RCAF.

Well I hope you are right. I'll certainly get a couple.

 

And yep, I am doing three more schemes from Leading Edge, which is pretty much all the decals released that I know of. Then another one from Above and Below decals. But that one has to wait till the current postal strike is over.

160 schemes for 138 aircraft...that's got to be a record.

May not be in Canadian markings, but it belongs to Canada, FA-18 160778 No4 shot at CFB Borden in 1993.

 

I flew a CH-47D into the base, and we were directed to land near a car park.  Not a good idea, as I think we damaged 100 cars when we lifted off and sprayed pea gravel into the parked cars...

I think that Hornet was for spares and training . Last time I saw it, it had a standard Canadian scheme
