AWACS-RESIN
Hi all, here I am starting another challenge with the construction of a Lookeed Martin EC-130J from the Zvezda kit in 1/72 scale. I started with some reinforcements and the DIRCM fairings. Thanks for looking.

Dutch
Jost, you have a fantastic eye for detail and the skill to accurize the mal-formed parts. Watching with enthusiasm. Kind regards, Dutch
AWACS-RESIN
Progress on the build. Glued the fuselage and wings together and added a few more reinforcement stripes.

AWACS-RESIN
The EC-130J also continues with the antennas on the top and on the front sides. This is the last update before Christmas. Merry Christmas to you all.
Ichitoe
Fantastic work! Looking forward to the rest of your build. Those antennae wouldn’t survive more than a session with my heavy handed modeling, LOL!

AWACS-RESIN
Today I starded on the wing blade antennas and electronic equipment pods.
A-10 LOADER
Looks great Jost. You're very fortunate you're able to cast your own parts, they look good. Here's a shot I took at our "Family Day" of a 193rd J model. EC-130J, 193rd SOW / 193rd SOS, 98-1932, Willow Grove ARS, June 6, 2010. I like to paint my EC-139J in that scheme but not 100% shure, what FS # it is. Can’t find anything. Do you know the number? Regards, Jost

Da SWO
I love 130's, but COMMANDO SOLO II had to have been the ugliest 130 built. Nice model though, I am in awe of you fabrication skills. How did you make the blade antennas?

Thanks Da SWO, For all those large Antennas and pods I cast resin plates and round rods. Then they are cut and sanded until they have the shape of my previously created 1:72 scale drawings. And of course very good photos.
AWACS-RESIN
Happy New Year all. Except for the four small lights, the upper fuselage is finished. I'll have to see, because I don't have a transparent rod to make them. The cooling air duct is attached on the left side. The electronic pod is provisionally attached under the right wing. Maybe a few more details will be added.
A-10 LOADER
Fantastic work on the add-ons, those underwing pods look great. Steve
Ichitoe
Just incredible work!
AWACS-RESIN
Hi all, I took a break from the wings and will now continue with the antennas on the tail. The first one is finished and attached. I made an angle so that all four antennas have the same angle. The other three antennas are cast. Thank you for stopping by.
A-10 LOADER
The antennas looks great and, I was wondering how you were going to attack this. This will be a tough area to get paint into once they are all attached. Steve

Things also get difficult with the antennas and e-pods under the wings. But I think it's easier here to inject everything at once. We'll see. It remains exciting.
