Thanks, Steve.
Well, it always gets harder when parts are in the way. Things also get difficult with the antennas and e-pods under the wings. But I think it's easier here to inject everything at once. We'll see. It remains exciting.

Cheers

We all have our own way of building and this hobby incorporates a lot of "problem solving" as we move along with the build. This is a big reason why I pin a lot of things on my builds, so they are out of the way, I find it much easier to paint certain things separately then attach them at the end of the build. Makes painting much easier and yields a cleaner result.

Hopefully this will not be too much of a headache for you when it comes time to paint ? Looking forward to your next update on both of your builds.

All antennas and pods are attached. The next step was to mask off the windows and then spray paint the fuselage and wings with FS16173 ADC Grey. I added some shading. The engines will be built next and then painted. In the meantime, everything for the white and black parts will be masked off and then spray painted.

I actually wanted to continue with the engines, but I didn't really feel like it. So I made my own decals and applied them. Only the decal for the ARR is not from me. I came from the Italeri kit. Next up are the engines.

Thanks for watching.

Looks awesome so far. Being able to make your own decals is a nice bonus as well. How was it spraying around all those antennas on the tail and under the wing ?

Thanks Steve.

Actually it was pritty easy to spry the paint to the almost covered areas.

Now here is the final work on the Solo.

The finished engines were attached and a dome was installed on the wings. Some extra decals were made r the coulings. After painting with matt varnish, the windows were exposed and the windshield wipers were attached.

Now I can start on a new Herecules project. Maybe an HC and an EC-130H Compass Call. We'll see.

Thank you for your interest.
