@Darren Roberts,

Judging from these other two NWC China Lake photos, I would say that at least the wings and lower forward fuselage are all white.  It looks like the lower center aft fuselage is dark blue from just aft of the intakes to the exhaust cones.

IPMS magazine had a good set of drawings of this bird for the Bi-centinneal issue.  I have the fin logo somewhere and will dig it out.  Actually quite a few pictures of this bird on the China Lake photo site as well as other places.  Yes the bottoms of the wings are mirror the top.  This bird was one of the orgional T-38A's built for the USAF and in 1972 transferred to the USN for use at Top Gun.  From there it was sent to China Lake and wore this scheme for a bit.

@Darren Roberts,

There is also a photo of an all red or orange QT-38A as well. Might be an easy add for Kursad.

Motorbooks also released a Bicentennial book called Air 200 or something like that that featured some beautiful shots including military and civilian subjects.

I am still working on the T-38 sheet with USNTPS and USAF TPS markings (along with a few heritage schemes) and will let you know when  I have anything  to share.

Folks, can any of you help with the second badge (the one closer to the tail) on the spine of the Edwards jet (64-13197)? I was not able to identify it.

@KursadA The light colored rectangle behind the red navigation light?  It looks like one block from a variable intensity formation light strip. K/r, Dutch

Note: (My bad.  I completely missed those.)

It actually wore this scheme till it's last dying day as a QT-38A on the Range at China Lake in December 1980. One of the best looking Bicentennial jets to fly imho.

What I needed was the TPS heritage logo - thanks!

I have not forgotten this one and eventually will do it as well - but the sheet coming in the next two months will have the USNTPS and USAF TPS jet originally proposed, and possibly one or two simpler heritage schemes that can fit on the sheet.

Understand Kursad, I was just saying from an earlier reply. I appreciate you will do this scheme too!

Apologize for the interruption.

I should have provided that decal earlier, so I apologize, Kursad
