It is pretty self evident though, as to how it goes together. It is working for me - the problem may be on your end. It is a PDF file.
Matt Walker
Okay. Opened the PDF on the computer, no issue. On closer inspection of the Pace Tack, all but one of the larger parts had come off the supports, as well as 2 of the 4 ECS scoops. Just wanting to make you aware. KursadA
Yes - as I mentioned we will correct this in a revision of the design and change the support structure.
Matt Walker
Would it be worth putting small items like the ECS scoops in their own cage? Any chance of some replacement scoops? The 2 that were off the supports had disappeared.

Bozothenutter
Just recieved mine. First off, the parts are gorgeous, and I can't wait to use mine. As with the others, a lot of my parts were loose, but I seem to have everything. The printed cage is next to useless, as it was not deformed or damaged. Your support contact points are VERY small, (for good reason), it seems the parts are being shaken off the supports. The resin seems very brittle, almost glass like brittle, which won't help. Maybe mix in some 'vinyl like' resin, or try a less brittle one?
KursadA
I am glad you liked it. As I mentioned, we redesigned the support structure and the cages so that the heavier parts will not break off as easily during transport. The second and subsequent batches will consist of the redesigned version.

I was able to get in on the extra sets and it is beautiful! Any chance you would do a stowed version of the Pave Tack with the ECM pylon? This is necessary to model an F-111F with GBU-15s and data link pod. F-111 Weapons I maintained the data link pods for the F-111 and then F-15Es while at Lakenheath, and have always wanted to model that loadout. thanks! Mike
Bozothenutter
Hi Kursad, is there any shrinkage in resin printed bits? (I assume no, as the tend to expand with overcuring) Mine is coming up 0.65mm short. Anybody else tried theirs on for fit? ignore the bits of styrene, I'm fitting closed doors
KursadA
Nobody reported any issues like that, but warpage and/or some very minor shrinkage is a possibility. At any rate I think 0.65mm is a small enough gap to be filled easily with a shim or putty. Edited March 24 by KursadA

Anyone actually used them yet? I know how to fix it, (not even asking for a replacement). But the way the part is designed, it's locked in at the front, so adding 1mm at the other end would make the part 'adjustable' thus head off any shrinkage problems. A-10 LOADER
You spiked my curiosity Bozothenutter so I had to check and, mine is short as well. If you go back to the first page and look at the first pic, that one is short also. Steve Edited March 30 by A-10 LOADER

Should be an easy fix, and I think there is even a lip on the weapons bay that sticks out that the cradle will rest on. Edited March 30 by longmc
KursadA
We have already modified the design to eliminate the breakage problem (the supports are stronger now and the smaller parts have their own, separate cage). I will also address this in a later revision that will be available during the summer.
