AFammo
Getting ready to start a 1/32 NYPD Bell JetRanger build. I have the decals on the way(Which I assumed, the decals were full color, not white on the painted body). So, my question is, what color blue should I use to paint the chopper body? Thanks for your help.
martin_sam_2000
it is most likely a Pantone colour, and not directly available in model paints. Your best bet is to mix a custom colour and in a large enough batch to paint the kit and still have some left for touch ups later. It may also help to look into some model car forums as i am sure it is the same blue as their cars and you may find that reference more readily. Regards, Sean
HeavyArty
It was a Ford paint color known as Grabber Blue, paint code J. Tamiya TS-23 spray is an almost perfect match. Edited December 7, 2024 by HeavyArty

AFammo
I already pulled the trigger and purchased the Tamiya spray paint. Thanks for the help in providing choices of color to paint the Jet ranger. I'm doing the interior now. Have a Merry Christmas and God Bless you.
