Completed scratchbuilt 1/72 Fenrir (Ace Combat)

[Magic]

This fictional super fighter was inspired by the Ace Combat video game series. Work started in 2017 and now, in 2024, she's finally completed.

There are some modifications that I made which hopefully give the Fenrir a more plausible stealth design. Much of the model is actually an example of upcycling, because some packaging material and spare parts and decals from other kits were used. On top of that, lots of resin filler was used.

 

I found this to be a very difficult project and I stalled multiple times, not sure how to continue. In the end, some things didn't turn out quite as well as I intended, but a few things turned out well (for my standard at least).
