gb_madcat_sl
Presenting my rendition of the Academy A-10C. The well-engineered kit was built rather easily. I spruced things up a bit by adding the instrument panel, ACES II ejection seat, gun muzzle, weighted wheels, intakes and exhausts from DEF Model. I also added some hydraulic piping to the main landing gear legs using tin solder. Decals were from the now-discontinued Speed Hunter Graphics Digital Hogs sheet. The model here represents one of the many Hogs of the 74th Fighter Squadron, 23rd Fighter Group which were deployed to Incirlik Air Base during Operation Inherent Resolve. Painted with Mr Colour lacquers and weathered with oils, enamels and AK Weathering Pencils. Hope you enjoy the photos!
