Tlott
Sad news all, Just went to his website to check on something and there is a message from his wife that he has passed away. Customer announcement It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of my dear husband, David Joseph Parkins. He dedicated his life to everything modelling (alongside all things nature, music and family). Thank you for the many years of interest and support. He loved the modelling community. Thank you, Mrs Rebecca Parkins. In time, we hope to sell off the remaining stock and are taking note of any interest from people looking to purchase any part of the business. Hajo L.
Oh, really sad news. The MC-130E Fulton-nose was the first aftermarket item I ever puchased.... A great guy left the modelling community! HAJO
GSymmonds
Sad indeed - I used a lot of his stuff - particularly for flower-class corvettes and RAF aircraft appurtenances - very often highly detailed models unto themselves.
Sarathi S.
I still have one of his MC-130H conversion kits in the stash, sad to hear he's gone.
