F-104C Starfighter is my second completed model this year (the first is the F-14A Tomcat from Italeri) in 1/48 scale. This time I chose the Hasegawa kit. I bought the model from a friend as incomplete, without glazing and decals. Thanks to the help of another friend, I filled in the missing glazing and the decals for the NASA aircraft were made to my order by Bogdan Żołnierowicz. And here's an interesting fact - the model bears the markings N820NA, which it did not actually wear during its service, but was painted like that for the needs of the Museum of Flight, Boeing Field in Seattle. The real aircraft with the registration N820NA is the F-104A, which is presented at the Air Force Flight Test Museum - AFFTC located at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

Looks great, I find that canopy to be outstanding. An area I had difficulty with in that scale.

Wygląda świetnie, uważam, że ten baldachim jest wyjątkowy. Obszar, z którym miałem problem w tej skali.

Thanks for your attention to my model. I'm glad you like my Starfighter. I'm currently working on the F-104G from the Revell/Monogram kit.
