Hi Guys, just a quick one.

I have a Cessna YH-41 Seneca/Skyhook I want to finish in the Army colours of green with a white top, also a Cessna T-41 Mascalero/Bug Smasher in the same scheme.

Can anyone tell me the correct colour or FS number for the green please?

TIA

Cheers

Frank

Gloss Olive Drab is the colour in question - however, the Federal Standard designation for OD was changed, so it has differing numbers...

....in the 1971 edition of TB 746-93-2 'Painting and Marking of Army Aircraft' it was referenced as FS14087...

....whereas in the 1986 edition of the replacement TM 55-1500-345-23, it was referenced as being FS14084.

If I recall correctly, 36086 is US Army Helo Green.  Others will let me know if this is wrong.

My mistake

Right guys, after further research :bandhead2:, consensus is FS14087 is the suspect.

What is more I can get it here in aerosol. It has an equivalent in RAL 130-50-30, close enough for Gubbermint work, so I will go for that.

Thanks for all your input.

RAL 130 50 30? Both too light, and too green...

....as I said previously, the renumbered/replacement for FS14087 is FS14084:
