Hello All

Could someone please give me some color guidance on the low vis scheme for a F-14A Tomcat, Is it the TPS scheme or something else? Thanks

It depends on the aircraft and time frame you want to model. There were some pretty big variations in the low viz schemes. Most of them started with the basic TPS, but some were only two colors, and some had variation on the exact placement of the colors. I'd find a decal set you like (preferably with photo references available), and go from there.

Thank you both, it will be a 1991 desert storm Tomcat. I was hoping to get the model started before getting the decals, but the opposite will probably happen. So, I can work of the decals. I am hoping to do the Christine Tomcat (VF-33? I think) Thank you again

Happy to help! I'm by no means an expert, but I did quite a lot of digging into various Tomcat low viz schemes recently because I'm adapting USN VF-84 Jolly Rogers markings to a build of a VF-1S Valkyrie from the Macross/Robotech anime in a "what if?" scenario. Since it's a fictional scheme, I wanted to see what the possibilities are.
