F-16
I am wondering if anyone here uses the "Plamokojo Vortex Stirrer Turbo High-Speed Model kit Paint Mixer Hobby-Tool PMKJ020". How is it to use? Any problems? Does it vibrate/move/slide on the workbench from oscillating? What's the best way to "anchor" it down? Currently on Ebay for $61.63 from Japan. More expansive on Amazon. 72linerlover
Hi, Scott. In my opinion that's a paint shaker. It will make a perfect paint-air emulsion, and we don't need it. Keep on going the classic way and slowly stir the paint with a flat screwdriver. Regards Euge
Chuck1945
I have one, it works well and stays put. I like that it fits my various sized paint containers from the 17ml drip top to the 23ml Tamiya bottles. It also has an automatic timer that will turn itself after x seconds so you can can start it shaking and leave it alone while you continue to do other ‘before actual painting’ preparatory steps. I have arthritis in both hands so hand shaking or stirring is something I try to avoid.
caudleryan
I have one and I love it! One word of caution, though. Do not use the high setting. It will fling your bottle straight out of the Shaker and send it flying across the room. Ask me how I know!🤭 Medium setting at most and shake for a minute or so and you are good to go. It does a very good job of mixing the paint. I have had bottles that were completely separated and they mixed just fine. It will also do a decent job of mixing Tamiya spray cans.
