(Mods, if this is incorrect to post in two different sections, please remove.) I am looking to acquire CMK 4266, Hughes MD500-D Engine Set in 1/48 scale. It appears to be out of production and is no longer listed on the CMK website. If anyone has this set and no longer needs it, I would love to purchase it from you. It's doubtful but you never know. Somewhere, out there, someone is selling this set at some model show for a small price. 🤞 Worse case scenario, I can attempt to scratch-build the engine and engine bay! 😬 I have the old 1/20 scale Nichimo Hughes 500 kit in the attic. That comes with a complete and highly detailed C-18 engine and engine bay. The C-20B engine is almost identical in appearance and size to the C-18 so I guess I could get the engine from that kit and take measurements, scale it down and attempt to scratch build an engine. I'll hold out for a while before I go that route, though. Trying to build the curved exhaust system isn't going to be easy. The Nichimo kit. LD. That will help with making a C-30 engine if I go down the road of scratch building two engines. I need a C-20B and a C-30 for the little display I have in mind. LD. He is part of the Australian and New Zealand plastic model buy, sell, swap, wanted parts and a group. His name is Ross; I have bought off him a few times. He is a good seller. I did google that MH-6E engine set and it threw up a few shops that had it in stock in the past. One appeared to have one set in stock! I have ordered it and it wasn’t cheap but will be perfect for what I have in mind. Thanks to everyone who replied to this thread. It appears to have paid off.
