I have previously built an L-39c from an equally obscure Russian manufacturer, South Front whose kit looked the same as this, so wondering if they went bust and Modelist bought the moulds. Built in the red/silver scheme from the early days of L-39 operations. Appears to be a short run style kit and so some areas were not the best fit like the wing to fuselage joint. Instrument panel decals fell apart, so fished some Eduard ones out of the spares file. Overall SMS PMT09 aluminium. Red parts were painted with AK paint marker RCM003 red. That worked out well.
