Hi all,

I don't usually make 'small' scale kits. But this one is for a friend/ex-paratrooper.

He doesn't know anything about modeling,so if it looks fine in the end,he will be happy to have a reminder from the days as a paratrooper.

The kit is the 48 th Italeri C-130.

what decoration?

bruno

Hi,

My friend wants it in the Belgian camouflage:sand/dark green/light green with grey underside.

Like in the pic.

I will not have to pay much attention on the correct detail. He only wants a 'nice' looking model to put in his living-room.

...ready to be painted.

As I said beforenI 'm doing this one for a friend who wants a nice model to display in his living-room.

Good for him...only thing is that I haven't told him yet how big it is

Erwin, I think this is going to be an impressive model!

If this is "small scale" what scale do you usually build?

:woo:

Oliver

Hi,

Normally I only build WW-2 planes in 32 nd and 24 th scale.

So this is an odd one out for me :woo:

If you plan on using the Daco decals, I hope you'll get recent ones (the first ones didn't adhere at all, although maybe micro set / sol might solve the problem)

As far as I know, it was solved with the subsequent decals...

Looks very nice

Love the size of the 1/48 Herc.......Got one myself........always putting building it off due to the space needed to display...........

One day ....One day it will be built............anyways hope to see yours done up soon.......planning the same scheme ........for a Malaysian bird.....

Cheers
