Ju 188 almost done

WOW nice looking 188 you have there :D ! How is that kit as far as detail, and fit? What paint did you use? Thanks for sharing it with us :) .

Dave, beautiful work...I love it!! :thumbsup: Your scribing and paintwork look superb. One thought/suggestion...I recently did this Italeri Do 217K-2 and used Testors Metalizer Burnt Iron for the exhausts and then added a very light wash of black to them. I brush on the Metalizer, (it can be done, just don't stir it ahead of time), and polish it just a little by hand. I think the effect is pretty convincing and might add even more realism to your absolutely beautiful builds!

Hope you don't mind a little input from a fellow 1/72 guy! :)

Joe, thanks for the tip. looks real nice on yours. I unfortunately don’t have any metlizer paints so I can't try that (for the moment) but will in the future.

Don, the kit was good for fit, but it had raised panel lines which I re-scribed. I used MM acryl paints.
