Justin Davenport
I've taken a break from the Viper I started and have bought a new Hasegawa kit I will do as Ilan Ramon's bird. I've started on an A-7 Corsair in 1/72nd scale - it's going to have markings from a bird based in Tucson. I watched A-7's fly over my house all the time when I was a kid and would occasionally see them when going to D-M with my grandpa. Here's the cockpit - I used the wire a kind soul sent me to replicate an ejection seat handle and an Aires PE part for the handle near the legs. I used Tamiya tape for the belts and drybrushed the panels after painting them. I do like the result.

Justin Davenport
And here's the assembled bird now ready for primer and paint. (When I mask the pit of course!)

Andy Gudbergsson
Looking good so far Justin I need to get one of these in 1/48 as I have 3 or 4 decals sheets for the A-7 in 1/48. Look forward to seeing it finished. Cheers ;) Andy G
Justin Davenport
Thank you both! The bird will be primed and painted soon. Sometime this week. And it'll probably be indoors w/out an airbrush as I'm feeling sick and it's cold. (Long stays in cold garages while you've got a cold just aren't healthy!!) Justin (wishes he lived in Hawaii right about now)
